Tinton Falls, New Jersey – August 17, 2020 – AASKI Technology, A MAG Aerospace Company achieved its Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) Version 2.0 Maturity Level 3 [ML-3] appraisal for Development [DEV] and Services [SVC]. This appraisal assures MAG customers around the globe that the organization is effectively delivering improved quality, greater productivity, and predictable program performance.

CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with a mechanism to evaluate their capabilities resulting in improved performance to customers. Currently, only 106 companies in the world have achieved CMMI Level 3, V2.0. CMMI Level 3 is attained by only the best organizations in the industry.

“Receiving the Maturity Level 3 appraisal for Development and Services is an important milestone not only for MAG, but also for our current and future customers. The appraisal is a key discriminator tying our business goals to our commitment to continuous process improvement to ensure a standard of lasting value from our organization.” said Joe Fluet, MAG Aerospace Chief Executive Officer.

“The CMMI model shows the benefit of common organizational practices to ensure predictability and performance improvement. We expect our projects and professionals to be fully compliant with all of the CMMI practices, and we regularly schedule Process Quality Audits to demonstrate our conformance to these standards and identify areas of improvement.”

The Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a proven set of global best practices that improves performance and key capabilities for organizations that provide services (CMMI Services) and improves performance and key capabilities for organizations that develop products, components, and services (CMMI Development).

An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.
