AS9100D | Aerospace Quality Management
AS9100 REV. D (also referred to as AS9100D) is based on the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements with the addition of standards specific to the aviation, space, and defense industry. AS9100D standardizes quality management system requirements to the greatest extent possible and can be used at all levels of the supply chain by organizations around the world. Its use should result in improved quality, cost, and delivery performance through the reduction or elimination of organization-unique requirements, effective implementation of the quality management system, and wider application of good practice.
Capability Maturity Model Integration
The Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) is an organized collection of best practices for business and performance improvement. It helps organizations around the world, in any industry, understand their current level of capability and performance and offer a guide to optimize business results. Implementation of the CMMI enables organizations to improve performance of their key capabilities, providing a clear roadmap for building, improving, and benchmarking capability. Benefits of the CMMI have been realized in many areas including schedule, productivity, quality, and Return on Investment (ROI).
With our CMMI for Level 3 for Development and Services achievements, our organizations have demonstrated that our organization is performing at the “defined” level – processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established, and improved over time. With CMMI we measure our own capabilities against best practices, allowing us to determine what is driving high performance and what needs additional development. CMMI standardization simplifies our work by encouraging streamline process improvement for efficient, predictable, repeatable project frameworks.
ISO 9001:2015 | Quality Management Systems
ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard dedicated to Quality Management Systems (QMS). It outlines a framework for improving quality and a vocabulary of understanding for any organization looking to provide products and services that consistently meet the requirements and expectations of customers and other relevant interested parties in the most efficient manner possible.
As an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization we have demonstrated that our organization has an international understanding of quality and that its Quality Management System (QMS) meets the international standards defined by ISO.
