Woodbridge, Virginia – September 20, 2017 – MAG Aerospace employees transported over $50,000 worth of supplies donated by MAG employees, their friends and family, and Coupon Central. The 13,000 cubic feet of donations traveled 2,300 miles from Woodbridge, Virginia to Houston, Texas and Marianna and Jacksonville, Florida in support of the Hurricane Harvey and Irma relief efforts. Donations included canned goods, non-perishable food, batteries, blankets and pillows, water, baby products, feminine products, and further hygienic products such as toothpaste, deodorant, and personal wipes.

“We can’t thank you enough for your generous donations!”
– Pastor, World Harvest Outreach

“We can’t believe you guys drove all the way from Virginia just to help out, we will make sure these supplies get to the families in need in south Florida, thank you!”
– Director of Missions, Chipola Baptist Association

“We have plenty of food and water but are greatly lacking in the supplies you have delivered. This will help hundreds of displaced families in the area, thank you!”
– Assistant VP, Feeding Northeast Florida

MAG would like to thank Magpro Apparel and Enterprise Rent-A-Car for lending the 24-foot trailer and the truck respectively. Both were indispensable in transporting the 4,000 pounds of donations to those in need. Trailer decals were donated by InShane Designs of Lemoyne, Pennsylvania.
